Alignment

Wheel alignment keeps your tires at peak performance and maximizes their longevity, and can improve your vehicle's handling and the overall driving experience. Referring to the adjustment of the suspension, alignment adjusts the angles of the tires to prevent vehicles from pulling to one side or vibrating on the road.

There are three components to wheel alignment: camber (the inward and outward vertical tilt of the wheel), toe (the 'foot' position of the wheels if viewed from above, the toes are either 'in' or 'out'), and caster (the angle of the steering axis when viewed from the side).

If any of these are misaligned, your tire treads can wear quickly and/or unevenly, and can hinder your driving. Some technicians also perform tire balancing in tandem with alignment, which corrects the weight distribution of each tire/wheel.
